Welcome to Bach Elementary!

It is with great excitement and heartfelt enthusiasm that I welcome you to Bach Elementary School! I am Dr. Matthew Jones, and it is truly an honor to serve as the principal of this vibrant, caring, and engaged learning community in the heart of Ann Arbor.

We are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and joyful environment where every child feels seen, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Our dedicated staff works collaboratively to spark curiosity, celebrate creativity, and engage students in meaningful learning experiences every day. With the support of our families and the Bach PTO, we continue to provide rich resources, strong academic programs, and a focus on the whole child—nurturing not only academic skills but also personal confidence, empathy, and a love of learning.
